QUESTION NO. 229

Mr Berry - asked the Minister for Finance and Urban Services -

(1) In your portfolio areas, how much of the Community Development Fund has been allocated and how much remains.

Mr Duby - the answer to the Members question is as follows:

(1) In 1989/90 an allocation of $824,000 was provided from

the Community Development Fund to my portfolio. The

allocation was for Special Events and Festivals, Civic

and Ceremonials and the Canberra Public Cemeteries Trust.

Of this amount $822,500 was spent leaving a balance of

$1500.
