To the emergency department staff, thank you. You are a credit to your profession. We understand you are working very hard. We know that, when you have periods of demand like this, it does take almost a week to resolve the busyness of the hospital. It is everyone in the hospital, because these periods of peak busyness will impact on every single person that works across the public health system in the public hospitals. I would like to acknowledge their efforts while they are going through this level of demand.
