Public housing

(Question No 16)

Mr Stefaniak asked the Minister for Urban Services, upon notice:

In relation to Public Housing:

  1. What is the make-up of housing stock in:

  1. North Canberra;
  2. Belconnen;
  3. Weston;
  4. Woden;
  5. Tuggeranong;
  6. Oaks Estate; and
  7. Gungahlin

(2) What is the make-up of housing stock for the following types of accommodation:

  1. bedsits;
  2. 1 bedroom flats;
  3. 2 bedroom flats;
  4. 3 bedroom flats;
  5. 2 bedroom houses;
  6. 3 bedroom houses;
  7. 4 bedroom houses;
  8. 5 bedroom houses;
  9. 6 + bedroom houses;
  10. aged persons units with (i) 1, (ii) 1.5 and (iii) 2 bedrooms; and
  11. townhouses with (i)1, (ii) 2 and (iii) 3 bedrooms.

(3) For each category in each region, what is (a) the number of people on the waiting list and (b) what is the expected waiting time for allocation from the non-priority waiting list.
