Ms Clay asked the Minister for Transport and City Services, upon notice, on 25 November 2022:

(1) What is the average tenure of Transport Canberra bus drivers.

(2) For the financial years (a) 2019-20, (b) 2020-21 and (c) 2021-22, (a) how many Transport Canberra bus drivers resigned and (b) what was the average tenure of bus drivers who resigned.

Mr Steel: The answer to the member’s question is as follows:

(1) The average tenure of current Transport Canberra bus drivers is 9.3 years. Noting this does not account for drivers who are employed casually.

(2) The table below outlines responses to questions a-c and a-b.
